Hi all,
Well this is my first post after being a member for about 6 months. Bought myself a tray top CF to act as a car carrier for my "other"classic... an original '58 300E english Ford van.
CF has a 186, auto and is a classic do-up-job. Just as well I'm handy with a welder/angle grinder. :D :D :D

But it runs well & elligible for club rego in SA. Under $200 a year, but have to keep standard. BUGA
Found a highway diff, so crusin is now stress free.

And I love it

Cheers for now
Russell

Hi all,

Thanks for the welcome. I've been reading for about a year, and a member for 6 months (?) This site is a credit to you all.

As for the tray, well 6pac, straight metal 10x7. I need to extend it by 18 inches & make ramps.

No rush, I owned my ford for 20 years before it was on the road.  :(

Hope to get this done in 18 months. Yea, I know, famous last words.

Workin for the weekend!
