Original Paint Colour

Hi Folks,   I was wondering what the original white on a 1971 Bedford would be called. I have been told Glacier White (like a HQ of the same era) but it doesn`t really match the colour of my van. I would like to respay my van in the colour that the factory intended!

The name of that colour IS Glacier White. Paint code numbers won't help either.
There's about 200 shades of white available, so, pick the cleanest interior area
and do a spot test with small samples. You'll get something close enough. Good luck.

Most paint shops don't carry paint codes going back so far

As Hobbit mentioned, there are more shades of white than any other colour.

If you take something into a paint shop they could match it pretty close, are limited on a bedford what you can take in, but if you want original colour try inside seat base as it hardly ever gets any sun, or the covers on the kick panels (they are usually poop riveted on from factory)
