Request: Bedford Van for wedding vehicle?
« on: October 15, 2012, 02:10:22 PM »
Hi all,

I am new to the forum as a non-Bedford owner, but thought this would be the best place to come to with my potentially strange request.

Two of my best friends are getting married in Beechworth, Victoria, on Saturday November 24.

The groom formerly owned a purple Bedford van with a V8 engine conversion, and is still quite fond of his former steed.  I thought it would be a good idea to surprise him by having the bride arrive at the wedding in a similar Bedford van.  It would be a cool little gesture and would add some uniqueness to the event.

Do you think there is anybody on the forum who maybe lives in the area and would be willing to help out (for a fee of course)?

If so please feel free to email me via ben.blasco (AT) gmail.com or SMS me on 0439 655 641.

Please accept my apologies if I have posted to the wrong section of the forum.  I'm unfamiliar with the site!

Cheers,
Ben

She must be a big ugly thing, if you have to hide her in the back of a van to get her to the wedding.
just joking
make it reliable, or smash it with a big hammer

Hi all,

@Dano: A convoy would be awesome!  However, my requirements are quite simple.

@rossie: lol, nah.  She's a cute one!  She wouldn't be hiding in the van for long...

@eddy: In order to find out if it was the same car I'd have to give the game away regarding the wedding.  I'll see if I can do it on the sly.

On another note, I have had a couple of SMS but nothing that seems viable.  Anybody willing to help out?

Ben
