finished for the mo....
« on: July 17, 2012, 12:40:56 AM »
stage 2 of "ol futile" is finished, had to redo the mural due to "bog complications"... also extended it round both rear sides, put a shot of mother earth on drivers side                                                                                                                                                                                        showing a nice "exposae" of the antipodes,... an a "token" outline smudge bottom left ,of NZ, in recognition, of our bretheren there , an too, the fact, they are probably the only 2 countries that count on a world basis........                                                                                                     flashed up the warp exit burst on the voyager,s passenger side n threw jupiter in for good measure as well ......                                                                                                                                                                                 completed the back, after "bogrepairs" with a smaller wormhole an bigger starship....an different lettering, took me three weeks, first rubback/last coat of clear ,an i had great fun doing it ...really!!!                                                                                  the story to the mural is rumoured to be, (you trekkie,s are gonna luv this)...  that "UBS defiant, NCC-CF-001" commisioned in 2388, was a "bedford" class explorer vessel engineered from late 20th century technology... a very "sought after patent" in ",many" quadrants of the universe, for many an "eon".it was the first starship vessel   assimilated by the borg,  an to have its technology merged with borg, which ultimatly became the downfall of the borg empire, due to it still using "lucas" electricals....( yes ,the ol "prince of darkness" jibe, was still alive an well in the 24th century..)  their civilisation fell into total chaos, simply "badearthed n burned out every circuit . bedford yet again saved the world.... and a new saying was born.... "bedford"... "resistance is futile"                                                                                                                an finally  ,got rid of the whoppin great spottie off the top of the bullbar ,swapped it for a coupla pencil beams lower down, a coupla foggies in the middle, an stuck some flashier badging on the bonnet.... that should do for now...cheers  skippy  ;)

G'day

A big thumbs up!

Here is one of my favourite T-shirts...

I never thought about a Federation Bedford but I will warn all the other smeg heads of your impending domination.

The problem I have is that most of my stories end with... and that is why I am not allowed to go back there!
