Bedford powersteering kits

He finally got the kit made, and here it is.

Murray from McQuiod Engineering (765 Rosebank Rd, Avondale, Auckland NZ, phone (09) 8285302 ) has developed the kit making it a bolt on kit, *no cutting or welding.
Kit comes complete with everything in the photo, you just need a power steer pump.

* = Has been tested with Commodore V6, Holden 202 and Chev V8 BUT as no two engines are mounted the same there is no guarantee it will fit every application (you may need to lift or move your engine mounts at worst). On one V6 van we tried it on it was very close to the oil filter (engine was mounted to far to drivers side and crocked).
An LVV cert engineer has looked at it but can't cert it without it being on a vehicle, as long as the kit isn't change it's basically guaranteed to pas cert.

Price, $1600.00 NZ or $1500.00 with exchange steering knuckle (end of steering column knuckle, not the rubber one)
He has sent 2 down South Island (NZ) so far so shipping is an option, would probably send to OZ as well (no idea of cost but can get weight etc)

and for the record I am just helping him out with this, I'm not making a cent from it.

He also does HQ disc brakes kits (he needs to install them) and is working on a bigger twin pot conversion, more on that as it's developed

What rack is he using?
If it is a standard rack would he ship all the bits?
It would make freight easier.

The rack is toyota something, but the tie rod ends are different model and the steering knuckle is half something and bedford with custom universal. He didn't really want to give a lot away but will ask him if he can do the kit without the rack for you guys over there - can only ask.

OK? have a hiace rack here set up for ps, it's the same, will take a photo, only problem was that the turn was less than the Transit,  But I'm sure Murry has sorted this out, being his quality of work he puts out, ok put it this way, he's been around a long time to know whats best...........
