if you have the rego papers with client no or previous owners lic no an rego plate no, you can register a vehicle , if more than 90 days outta reg an additional fee is charged on top.... something piddley like $28, so 1 2 3 10  years outta rego no probs ..sa just want your money its thankfully still a bit draconion over here for rego rules

Hi pandavan skippy is spot on long as you have the rego papers all it is a number check to see if papers match van numbers and a basic look over such as lights, indicators ,just make sure it looks presentable i have to take my van there soon  rizzo out
