1977 LWB Van 308V8 custom body unfin rebuild
« on: January 05, 2012, 10:40:30 AM »
A repost of earlier ad...

1977 CFL (long wheel base)
Reconditioned 308 Holden Blue 5ltr V8 – has not even been driven in yet.
350 turbo transmission – B&M mega shifter
VK Commodore dash and steering loom
New/reconditioned electrics and wiring
Recaro racing seats
Duel rear wheels
Front and rear sunroofs
Body kit including 2 new fiberglass rear flares
Extractors
new driveshaft
new exhaust
rear door sealed up
couches installed in rear... no seat belts.

Spare parts:
Long range fuel tank
Disc brake front end
Spare doors with windows x 3
2 boxes of sound deadening material (same as dynamat) enough to do most of the van.
roll of foil bubble wrap insulation for roof lining.

Plus many many extra parts

The van is in the final stages of a complete rebuild/restoration. Underneath mostly looks as new. The beast is an amazing thing and I have had it sitting idle for some time. I just seem to lack the know how, funds and time to finish it. The bloke I bought it off cried as I took it away and I will probably do the same.

any offers will be considered... originally wanted over 10000 for it but just want to reclaim the shed space now. make me an offer.

image 1: recaro seat, engine cover... dash not installed in this photo.
image 2: unfinished interior, spare doors, long range fuel tank from a cf van, and a multitude of parts stored inside.
image 3: roof console with stereo remove (still all wired for amp 2 x head units and speakers), front sunroof.

body is a bit dirtier than the initial photos with a couple of surface rust spots coming through but NO structural rust. just need a re-sand to clean it up no additional body work required. There has been some serious work done to this already with a little bit of clean up and finishing to be done.

note this is not registered or have a RWC and has not been engineered.
