Cf Celica 4speed conversion
« on: December 18, 2011, 03:54:39 PM »
Cf Bedford celica 4 speed conversion, castlemain bellhousing, crossmember and tail shaft. Note: bellhousing and tail shaft suit the celica 5 speed gearbox too, as I've done the swap before. Crossmember needs to be modified for the 5 speed tho  which is very simple for anyone handy with a mig
will also throw in another 4 speed for parts which is broken.

I ran this set up in my van for a couple years, was awesome. Even after I broke the 4 speed and got a rebuilt 5 speed there wasn't much difference between the boxes
$500
pick up sth east Melbourne or I can chuck on a pallet for freight
Cheers
Alex

Are you selling a celiac 4 speed box or just the conversion kit.?

I'm wanting to upgrade my 4 speed Muncie to a Celica W55 or 58
Because I have a heavy Bedford motorhome with 202 straight 6
Running LPG and dual wheel drive I need the 5 th great for hiway
But still the tall gears for hills and quick start at the lights.

What ratio is in your box?
The Journey of a 1,000 miles starts with a single step...are we there yet?

Yeah comes with 2 gearboxes, 1 is good & 1 is broken. Tail shaft is for a swb tho. Unsure of ratios, you should be able to look them up
Sorry forgot to include my number
