Can I get a good van for $3000

Gday all  :) :)
I am after my first Beddie .... good body with little rust ( i am still learning about restoring ) just standard  van no frills ....
 No motor is ok. want to restore and drive on classic car runs and charity drives.
I have a start off budget of 3 grand . am I wishfull thinking
what your opinion.....cheers

3 grand is plenty. beddys are dirt cheap. should be able to pick up a pretty good shell cheap if you hunt around for a fair while. i have a rust free shel but its bit custom at the front ay.

I bought the Azzvan, stock as, running and regoed, with orig everything, 202, 3 speed, std diff for $3050, but now she's on the expensive side of $20,000. So yes you can start at $3k but you sure as hell won't finish there

Hey Bushie, mine cost $900 to buy, this is the second build, and mine is a rolling shell at the moment, and i am up to probably
$20,000-00. I recon i will spend in the area of $60,000 when alls said and done. My van body has a lot of custom work, custom mechanicals, bottom line this is a beddy and the sky is the limit, so long as you are rapped with what you are driving, go for it.
