rear doors

Hi Bren.  With my chev (avatar),  both back doors where damaged and half full of bog, that had cracked. The panel beater who did the conversion had two new skins made for the bottom half (waist rail down) at a local metal fabrication factory.  That was in Warrnambool in Vic,You should be able to find someone in WA to make a couple of skins for you.  They weren't that expensive from memory.   We cut the old skin off and took the door frames to the factory and they made them to fit.  They had the lip on the edges to fold back over the frame to secure it to the frame and then some spot welds to secure them.  Weld the join at the waiste rail just under the window.
This might be another way. could be a bit cheaper than freighting a couple of doors over to WA.

Thanks for the info, although i was hoping there would just be a good door somewhere that i could just throw on and be done with it. they must all be rusted out by now im guessing.

Ive had some panels pressed up to suit beddie doors, side and rear, will post some photo's this coming wednesday, from memory i think there 75mm high , all you need to do is tack , weld, dolly the corners,etc. The profile is real good too
