Hi, you can call me Dan

Hey guys, my name is Daniel im a 30 year old father of 2 living in wellington NZ.

Have searched for good info on the bedfords and it seems this is the best place for me.

I have recently aquired a 1975 CF (jumbo ?) lwb, and I plan on turning it into a camper. It has a 202 with a celica 5 speed (with a short shifter ;-( will have to find one I can reach)

Anyway the first things on the agenda are to fit a hydraulic clutch (currently has some home made mechanical job that barely works) and power steering, ill also need to do the timing on it.
From there ill be in more of a position to work out what I really wanna do.

Hey! Welcome to the Bed Heads Daniel.  :)
Congratulations on the new van, and you're right. This is the best place for a Beddie slave.
I have the same clutch problem on my CF-LD28, and am thinking of a hydraulic one also.
Funny old life.

Dan with the shifter you could make an extension yourself or try going to a truck parts place because they usually have them for sale
Happy to be living past my "use by date" I was given 6-12 months to live in August 2007

This would appear to be the van I now own after Dan parked it in a barn and I bought it :-)

good to see another beddy on the road..

i went down the hydrolic clutch way but have not finished it as i need to make a mount for the slave to go on the side of the bellhousing..

but grab a master & slave off an isuzu big horn & the brake pipes also. easy to setup.

will put up some photos soon for ya.
