Fantastic van James, and the price is very reasonable. I hope someone with a passion for bedfords buys it. Did you build the van, or did you buy it already done. Mate you are going to miss this van like crazy. Thanks for the pics and the memories.

Sad to see James, i whole heartedly agree in your wish to not just sell it to "anyone" - this van HAS to be kept as is, i really think its the only true survivor of the era - only wish i could raise the bux mate. How's the freedom machine/Easyroller going mate? must be near completion by now?? I speak to John Evans almost daily, i know he'd be interestd to know.

Cheers

Mezz.

whats it like sleeping in a bed that short. I want to layout my van the same way but my wife is 5' 11 and i'm 5'9 and i think the van being 5'4 wide would be too narrow (ie bed not long enough)

How can i say this without hurting your feelings...Oh, I know, I don't want your stupid things in my cool van

I would'nt worry mate, i used to be 5'9 and i had no trouble stretching out . I had a full size double bed in mine, and as zeeman said they are not meant for sleeping, and they work well for that too.  ;) ;) ;D  Check my gallery you can see my bed.

Thanks for your kind words guys.
For those who don't know, Mystic was built 28 years ago, the first Beddi to have a Jag rear in it, it was put in in 1978. The paint and body have been untouched since its build. So no i did not build it, shit if i did i would be doing it for a job.

Jimsvan, see Ben, i think he has V8 engine covers, if not, get back to me. Mine is actually a 6cyl cover made by Van Craft, now Endesign in Dandenong

Wazzah, don't keep it a dream, make it reality but you will need to lash out between 75 and 90 grand in todays money to build something like this.

George, it definately will go to a Beddy enthusiast.

I have been offered another van thats why it is for sale, but i have a limited time, if i do not sell then the other van will be offered to the public and then i will keep it.

The Easyroller is just awaiting me to put another master cylinder and heater tap in it and then will just be weeks away from paint, so it will be ready for the Victorian Van State Titles later in the year. Mystic will not be at the Van Nats as i can not get 3 vans there, i will be taking Bad Company this year as Mystic went last year.
cheers guys
James
