Ex-Strathfield Car Radio Show van for sale
« on: August 03, 2008, 03:24:05 PM »
G'day

I have the following BARGAIN for the potential CF fan:

CFS van built by Strathfield Car Radio as a Show van and displayed at many events including the Summernats, where I first saw it. It was a brown colour with a BIG sound system (now removed).
Bought by a Sydney bloke who spent over $14000 on it and got everything engineered, including the big wheels.
The features include:
307 V8 Chev on gas/petrol. Very economical on gas.
Turbo 350 auto box.
Ford 9" diff.
Disc brake front end.
14x8 and 14x10 kidney mags with near new TA radials.
Custom Dash with VL steering column.
Electric windows and Prado electric mirrors.
Voyager seats with armreasts.
Engineers report.
much more.

It now sports a serious dent on the drivers side guard and needs work. Spare quarter cut included.
Definitely rebuildable or donor for another project.

BARGAIN at $2500. I have been offered more than that for the motor, box and wheels.

I will post some pictures when I find them.

Regards
Chris
The problem I have is that most of my stories end with... and that is why I am not allowed to go back there!

G'day

Sorry I have been busier than a mob of maggots on a dead sheep. I will post some pictures soon.

Apparently the van was already spoken for. A family member reminded me that they had put dibs on it and a good donor van that I have. She is going to rebuild it.

Regards

Chris
