Help needed with my 1976 CF Drum brake and ball joint
« on: April 03, 2011, 09:39:30 PM »
Hi Guys,
I tried to get a RWC for my 1976 Bedford Motorhome and it failed because the front drivers drum brake has a cracked drum
and also there is 5mm movement in the ball joints.

The Mechanic at MIDAS said when he rang around to get some quotes they just laughed...cant find bits here in South side of Brisbane.

Do any of you know where I can get a spare second hand Front Drum and where I can get the ball joint services or replaced etc?

This belonged to my late father and Im not as mechanically minded as he was.

Cheers

Ian

jim withers of J W Classic Car Parts.
.
03 9762 6025 home or 0411 088 342 or JWClassicParts@aol.com

Good for balljoints and any mechanic can fit, all going smoothly probably about 2-2 1/2 hrs for both sides
