Phill, don't know if this will help or hinder your search but the same switch is used in a chevette, maybe a bit easier or harder or even cheaper at the wreckers, if so get a price from the wreckers you never know. Will have a look through my switch drawer when I get a chance, have a funny feeling I had one from when my wife had a chevette many years ago. Could be a while though as all my stuff is packed away while the renovation is going on, can't find anything at the mo.

Cheers Jeff

phil, just use an after market one that screws in similar to the bedford one. actually i dont lnow what im talking about cause you have a mk2.

but surely you could get an aftermarket something without throwing another 30 year old part in it??

hey Ben the problem I have with an after market one is if you have a look at the LPG switch that i have put in the dash on Page 1 of this listing you will see that it does not full the hole completely.

I am triing to avoid this with the light switch. At the moment I have melted the switch back together :)

The aftermarker swtches end up being about 5mm or so smaller. Will see how I go. Its working at the moment.

The fault with the switch I got at mo is that the back clips have broken that hold the swtich together so I have melted them to hold so far.

Hey Phil i just had a thought, Looking at the pic that you posted up, what i suggest to do would be to unscrew those four screws and make up a new facia panel with the appropriate size holes for new aftermarket switches so you can replace them all..whata reckon? ;)
