Bedford Wrecking
« on: December 11, 2009, 09:44:52 AM »
Hi All, this is for all the local brissy van owners, SEQ, do we have someone local that is wrecking vans now. I used to have a mate @ Slacks Creek that used to wreck, while I was out of circulation he appears to have moved home, and I have lost contact. So guys & girls if anyone has contact details for someone, I would very much appreciate the help. The trading post in its print form was great, always had bedford wrecking in it, net trader version is not real hot, maybe it's my lack of computer skills. oh well.
Thanks Guys
Regards

Hi Shane, mate I may need to get a set of LHS Front Door Hinges, top & bottom hinges, trying to find a set with no play in them is getting harder, as is all bedford parts. The main reason though for putting out the call for a wrecker was that I had lost touch with a lot of friends and contacts after ending up in a wheelchair. Thanks to hotrod I found my mate ROB, who used to wreck beddy's, thanks hotrod.

Good to see a just a bedford vans group, most of the sites are for panelvans and other vans, and the bedfords get whatever space is left, so thanks for the site.

Gday
In the old days we used to re-pin the hinges by drilling the hinge and using a high tensile pin from an Engineering Supplies place.
The problem I have is that most of my stories end with... and that is why I am not allowed to go back there!
