Sorry Shane, I can't Remember, just brought from a local wrecker, it was out of a 4 cylinder, 2500cc, Manual 1998 model - Diesel, I know the rack was longer than the Bedford, the reason the tierod arms were cut down. It looks the same as the one in the post / link.

Hey Baz

Have you got any shots of the Transit rack in your van? I've had a nosey in your gallery but there isn't anything specifically around the rack.

Reason I ask is that I was trolling through the local Pick-A-Part today and they have a Transit in there at the moment and I'm seriously trying to talk myself out of going back to grab the rack however in light of the previous comment about there being two different versions I'd like to be sure that it is the right one.

There were 3 CFs in there as well so I got a few parts off of those too. Mostly trim etc but also got the little rubber piece that the petrol cap screws into as well. Most pleased about that as I noticed mine was cracked when I pulled the fuel tank out and was a bit worried about finding another one.

Hi Baz, Hi All, I am new to the site, even though I have had my 75 SWB for about 15 years. Because I am now a double amputee I really need to fit up power steering, trying to use handcontrols and no power steer I think will be a nightmare. I saw your info on the transit rack baz, do you have any detailed photo's of your install that I can look at, to try and move my build forward a bit quicker. I hope to have my van back on the road early next year, the power steering is the last big hurdle, I hope, but as any good bedford owner knows when customising, nothing goes smoothly. I have started to post my build pic's from 96 when we first got the van, 2009 pic's coming soon are when I came back to the world of the living.
