Hi Simon Welcome to the site That old girl is going to look great Pitty they dont come with swining doors I hope to be down in Tasi by next October to search for a new place to live We went down in our Coaster about 9 years ago & wished we had bought something then We love it down there Anyway if I ever get my camper finished were there Ive been trying to finde where you live on the map what is the nearest main town to you when we get there we will look you up So get stuck into that van Cheers Reid
Hey Ried, Cheers bud, yeah it's pretty good down this way, very laid back - sort of like the seventies, but with internet...
The missus and I (and the bubs thats due in May) live near Sorell, pretty much opposite Hobart Airport. If you (indeed anyone) decides to visit Tassie, just drop me a PM and give you an address to stop by for a brew!
I'm getting stuck into the dismantling stage of the resto, all the doors are now off and the "nose" assembly. Next will be the shell off the chassis, thats going to be interesting!
I've just finished my previous restoration, a 1974 Daimler Sovereign and before that a Wolseley 24/80.
Daimler pics can be found HERE
Wolseley epic story HERE
