just like to know what a standed bedford looks like in a 74 swb van  mine has hydo oil pressed into the cover plate but cant find any numbers any were is there a ezey way to tell a bedie diff or has any one got pics of one  cheers

A couple of avenues
check pcd and if bedford (5 x 152??) then check diff for welds to see if it has been cut and shut if not its a bedford
check ratio
or deadset giveaway  -  revs it's tits off at anything over 80K

hi 1st pic standard cf diff 2nd pic cresta diff with the longer snout, if you take off backing plate off it will have ratio stamped on crown wheel or you have something completly different in there, try posting a pic cheers stevo
