im sure that a removable bar or pin and padlock could be installed on the go peddle? you can start it all you want but if you cant depress the accelerator then your looking silly sitting there....

i was personal thinking of wielding or bolting in a thick box surround around my gear stick that has a sliding lid with a slot in it.... when you park you put it in neutral and the lid slides slotting either side of the gearstick and is padlocked...

the more obvious the deterrent the better in my book.

My kill switch is between the lead from the ignition to the starter motor.
They can't even start it, saving the battery.

hi i also have a bar across the auto selector that lets me lock it into park, i used it for the first few weeks then got over it! my vans insured with shannons for 7 grand, way more than i could sell it for! come and steal it! i live in fitzroy!!!

got told by a mate of mine from zimbarbway that they put a spike under the seat and when the theif jumps in the seat he gets it in the as# lol

id go the kill switch in the power to the coil, and put a fuel cut off in the fuel line.
in my SWB ive also got a chain bolted to the fire wall just above the engine cover with a bit of pushbike tube over it that gets padlocked to the 4 speed shift when its in reverse, and a chain bolted to the bonnet that gets padlocked around the passanger engine mount.


if u use a club lock make sure u lock it on with ur front wheels full lock either way, otherwise if their in the straight position a tow truck can just hook it up from the rear n drive off in about 2 mins.
