Portrait offer
« on: August 08, 2008, 07:27:23 PM »

I transfered this from the old site.

Portait of your beddy n You!!
Hi, my name is Mars and I love my ’77 Bedford Eddy.
I am currently undergoing a personal photography project for a graduate exhibition and was wondering if you would be interested. It is a portrait-style series on owners and their Bedfords.. They are a dying breed and deserve recognition for all their hard work over the years,
as posty vans , icecream vans ambulances
and other respectable trades……..

If you live in Melbourne and take special pride in your Bedford you would be perfect. I would love to photograph you and yours in an environment that suits you. Please email me on runski@hotmail.co.uk.
This is a very special project and I want to create something unique and interesting and If it makes the exhibition you would also be a guest of honnor on the night..

Look forward to hearing from you soon. Brum Brum.
Funny old life.

G'day

My daughter did a photography course years ago in another town. I had to drive her there every week so I did the course as well. For my final project I took black and white photos of my vans and hand coloured the sky, blinkers and number plate. As my vans are all matt black and chrome, the photos had a bit of a surreal effect. Now if I could only find them.
Here is one at:

The problem I have is that most of my stories end with... and that is why I am not allowed to go back there!
