ps. is their any law against having seats along the sides instead of the normal position?

          NATIONAL CODE OF PRACTICE
   STANDARDS BULLETIN VSB 5B
CONSTRUCTION AND INSTALLATION OF
 ADDITIONAL SEATS BY INDIVIDUALS

    Issue 2.0 - Revision 1.0 - January 2004
      Supersedes document dated December 1996

Side-Facing Seats

Although side-facing seats may be fitted, front-facing and rear-facing seats are preferred because
they provide a higher level of safety.

Seats from an Existing Vehicle
A seat from another vehicle may be used as an additional seat in another vehicle, eg the bench
seat from the front of a sedan may be installed in a cargo van to provide an additional seat.
The seat must be attached to the vehicle with at least the same number and size of fasteners as in
the original installation.
Where the seat is installed on a supporting frame to increase the height of the seat above the
floor, the supporting frame must be constructed of rectangular hollow section not less than
25 mm x 25 mm x 2 mm. The construction, including bracing, must be as set out in Figures 4, 5
or 6, depending on the number of seating positions provided by the seat.

some pictures of my backseat set up. We usually just fold the back down and this forms the base for the bed extension. Hubby is 6ft4 and needs the room!!! ;D

I agree they are a great dog mine is 13 years old and she is the best dog i have ever had, Unfortunately her hips are giving out too but she has an easy life now and she is enjoying the rest of life lying around and being pampered by the whole family.

yea, they'll lick you to death!!!!! hahaha  I get looks and comments for the van AND the dogs when I go out.

My male is 3 and my female is 2. She has hip dysplaysia, tho you would not know it the way she runs all over the place. I have a race track in my back yard complete with berms courtesy of these two!
