Steering Wheels
« on: August 25, 2009, 08:45:56 PM »
Hi Guys, Geez are you lot gonna be sick of me by the time this rebuild is done..... Anyway my steering wheel has just about called it a day and I want to replace it with a normal size sports item to help with the lack of power steering. Do you guys know of a car make and model that is easy to replace and fit or do we have to manufacture a boss kit for any sort we get?
Cheers once again.....Wayne

Thanks Craig....and hey Marty thanks again. Haven't fitted the HQ front end yet as finding HQ wheels or mags down this way is proving very hard. The wreckers just laugh at me......How Rude! Hoping a mates thought that he has some WB rims laying around will pay off then I can fit the disc front end. Some mags on Ebay but hard to get to Sydney to pickup. Do you search under Bedford steering boss kit on ebay or what Craig?

Holden fans would be horrified but I cut the guts out of a gts wheel welded a plate back in the center and used a saas boss.

yeah wayne if u see any mags on ebay u want let me know and if u buy them i will pick them up and store them here for u.
then just  come up and pick them up at your leisure.
or maybe u might have family come down to visit that could pick them up from here.
there,s no worries leaving things here ive got heaps of spare room n sheds.

n i dont mind helping beddy brothers n sisters.
