Custom Pick Up
« on: June 23, 2009, 03:10:17 PM »
Whats up guys/girls! Well heres a photoshoppped example of what my van is in the process of becoming. I decided to use my LWB for a longer tray. It has 2 rear doors that open in the suicide fashion. A rear gull wing door. The original LWB roof will be lower. The back will still have enough room for the seat to fold into a double bed. Im even toying with the idea of a cool canopy. Progress pics coming soon...muhahaha

That's pretty cool. I'm hunting around for a good van to do the same thing. I've got a model of an early ford econoline van done the same way and have been toying with the idea for a while. She who shall be obey'd won't let me do another vehicle until Genesis is finished but who cares. Am looking at a SWB as I don't need the dual cab option but a LWB could be a good way to go.

Check out vannin.com and search for the boop1 and boop2 vehicles to get an idea of how they look. These are based on chevy astro vans but you'll get the idea. Too cool.

Garry.
