Hey Team

Well where to start, er with the Beddy I spose, ok 84 CF face lift, SWB, Trident mags, 202 Holden motor and an auto.
Come's complete with the statutory rust in all the right "wrong" places.

Us Me "him" 45 Her 44, live on the road full time in our 1967 11 meter Bedford VAL bus, wihich is a professionaly built self contained motor home.
Currently we are based in KeriKeri Northland NZ where im doing motorhome fit outs, repairs and upgrades for various motorhomers.

Trained as an auto sparky, built and restored lots of cars utes, classics blah blah
Spent to much of my apprecticship hours working on CF Bedfords for NZ post in the late 70's and early 80's to have known better than to buy one.
But ive always wanted to build a custom van, so whats the plan stan.

Well lets see it will be called "Silverado" and be done in a western theam, because we both like the wild west and im a country entertainer.
We plan to do the van in a soft silver blue with darker blue accents, a little air brushing etc, but before that il put an aero foil up top on the back, a spoiler on the front, maybe some flairs and id really like an "ace of spades" bubble window in the rear on each side.

Basicly we are going traditional old school cool, I saws these windows when i was a youngen and loved them.
Ive been searching around but it looks like I will have to make a die and maunfacture my own as they are no longer available.

The bed in the back has to store my sound gear, PA speakers etc underneath, so we will be keeping the rear doors, but im really tempted to gull wing the side door, we'll see.

First things first though, some rust repair, power steer and a new steering wheel...

Anyway thats enough waffle from me.

Cheers for now
Rusty

Glad to see you made it
There are so many people out there who will tell you that you can't. What you've got to do is turn around and say "watch me"
