help with front wheels
« on: May 19, 2009, 01:11:41 PM »
Howdy,

Got my studs redrilled and 12 slotters on the back and very happy! i need to know if there is a conversion for the front - my original beddie hub is too big to take the 12 slotter even if i could alter the stud pattern - i wouldn't mind converting to disc but the only kit i have found will not take a 14" rim, only 15" - does anyone have any suggestions?

I have no issues staying with drums as my 58 corvette runs a 350 with turbo 400 and still has drums all round - and stops on a dime! Just need some suggestions.

Thanks all

Mezzmo

I've got the Castlemaine Rod Shop HQ disc conversion on the front of mine and the 14" 12 slots I have fit fine.

Mezzmo, Beddie's and drums just don't go together big fella......it's bad news, try and hunt an old van/front end with HQ set up , there's plenty out there and I guarantee it's the easiest way to do this as it will just be a simple bolt on application. Ask big bad Benny if he's got some, I'm sure the HOUND DOG will know where there's some...good luck! :D
Can I go play now...?
