Highway Diff Wanted - Perth
« on: March 03, 2009, 11:30:04 PM »
Has anyone, preferably in WA, got a highway diff in good nick that they dont need or suggestions of where I can get one.

I have a red 202 and standard 3 speed gearbox, and would love to be able to do the speedlimit on the freeway, or even do 110kms in the country.

Cheers
Dave

yeh there a good idea..

you can always pay someone to do a conversion for you also. then you know exatly what you want.

i have a spare here too but im very reluctant to sell cause i know how hard they are to pick up in good nick.

hey Mark, I now have three high way diffs but I only need two, 9" which is under the tow van at the mo, a borg warner beddie diff and a salisbury one tonner that is under the campa at the mo, the salisbury is going bye bye as its way too narrow for what I want, although the 14 x 8 deep dish 12 slotters fit but will not be wide enough to take flares unless you get really padantic and invest in custom made wheels, the salisbury was engineered for the tow van and is rated to take the V8 and is a highway ratio and of course has holden stud pattern, I ve decided to rebuild the borg warner cause I want the beddie width for flares, oh and a reliable hand brake, the salisbury as I said is under the campa so if you like you can have a look to see how it fits width wise or check out the width in my gallery under tow project (the diff with the red wheels), I am in Ringwood North ....
