Would be keen if my poor Beddy was running and registered. Summer maybe! Central Coast in between Newcastle and Sydney.

Yea I know and there were 2 others just about the same as that link but for different years of manufacture. Oh and they didn't go back to 1980 like my van so guess I can do just about anything I want then!

Electrics, Audio and Security / Starter motor wiring troubles.« on: February 10, 2011, 09:37:04 PM »
Hello Beddy people.
I was trying to get the wiring right to get my Beddy running again. I ran into trouble with the wire from the alternator to the starter. The battery light would come on when the battery was connected even though the keys were not in and then it would not start. I unattached that wire and the light stayed off but still no starting. Could it be a dead alternator or is it something wrong with the connections. Any hints or suggestions! 6

Thank you everyone for your comments they have been really helpful. Just learnt to weld today so those side windows are gone tomorrow and i'll hopefully get to the rear in the near future.

That's what I was thinking, I will have things in the way of it all the time. So I'll have to find out if that means only commercial vehicles can have none. Tough they would still make me keep the rear view mirror I suppose, every time I have hired a moving truck they have had a mirror even though you can't use it for driving. Thank you Heavy Judy

Driveline / Re: Replacing brake master and booster« on: August 26, 2009, 02:35:15 PM »
hey guys been searching a bit for brake boosters and masters found some good new ones but was looking at 8" dual Diaphragm booster and master but found out they are all too long for the beddy. Will the braking work just as good if I were to use say an 9" or 11" single diaphragm booster for my V8?
