I am setting up a Tarago 5 spd, same bell housing and internals as Supra but has remote shifter also have f150 LSD 3.73 ratio with studs set for Mazda 4WD

I bought mine from England, they were on ebay there, bought 1/2 dozen steering rubber joints as well (same as Torana) were really cheap and arrived in 5 days

I have a modded 4 spd shifter to fit at the front and changed operation for reverse, It's in the shed some where at the farm. I took the 4 spd out to fit toyota 5 spd. be up there Tuesday night if I remember could get a pic.

I would think any low wattage 12 volt light would be OK. the current from the globe is an exciter for the alternator they will actually work without the light on the dash once the engine revs

why not a Holden 6 202 conversion? standard parts for that available.

that sounds like the old holden "rat trap"
no not rat trap, I have Toranas this a sheathed cable from the clutch pedal to push mechanism will try for pic tomorrow

the Tarago box is basically the same as Supra just diff housing but bit shorter so I am using a Holden Supra bell housing, bought on ebay $156 used front shaft is same as celica and supra I think have 2 clutch mechanisms both cable from pedal to a lever system to push clutch fork one was on the truck, don't know if original the other from a Holden HZ 6 both bolt to the bell housing and the block haven't look at which to use yet would have liked a full cable but bell housing was to good to pass up

using a fuel injected black 202, will try for pic but only motor & box in just yet, still working on moving engine back so haven't worked out where shifter will go

I am using a Tarago 5 spd which is similar to the supra box but has external gear shift levers and uses a remote shifter set with teleflex cables that way I can mount the gear stick were I like

I have a rear set of Disks as well but not finished yet again with matching 6 studs will post pics when done
