And Ben I'd love to read an article on your fibreglass parts. How it's done, how you got into it, what you want to do next with it. I read on the forum that you are interested in learning how to press sheet metal?

Someone with a bit of knowledge could even just flick through the forum posts on the two forums and make some basic articles on specific topics. Wealth of information in the forums as it is, be nice to showcase it.

Ideas:
How about some articles?
They could be listed in the top or side menu by article title and members could volunteer to write articles. Things like the plans to that trolley that someone posted would be nice but also some FAQ style research articles would be nice too. I know this kind of thing is hard to get people involved with but maybe just some FAQ style articles would be fine. Stuff like an article on transportation/freight costs (eg. shipping a bedford from WA to VIC) with links to reputable companies and good deals. Might be a way to pull in some advertising too if you are into that kind of thing?
Permanent pages/member reports on stuff like the Nats would be good too.
Now a question.
Why no theme for the site? With the great photos on this site surely someone could whip up at the least a nice Bedford header?
Anyway just some ideas more than suggestions.

Cheers guys.
Keep me in mind if you see any beddies round the traps for sale (those that you don't want to buy yourself of course!)
Doesn't have to be a V8 just a SWB that runs.

My mate always wanted to have a Red Sonja pic (female Conan with red hair) with a couple of barbarians kneeling at her feet on a van. A reverse of the Male Barbarian traditional murals. He almost convinced me to let him do one on my old XF panel van. Almost.

Thanks for the heads up.
What is a more realistic price for what I'm after?

alright. changed my mind.
now I'm after a SWB V8 unleaded for around $800-2000
Not too fussy about body but would like it to run without too much hassle.
I'm only going to be using it as a runabout on the farm and future project, but it'd be a pain in the arse if everytime I go to use it it breaks down (like my old toyota tercel 4wd, every time I used it on the farm the drive shaft would fall out!)
Would prefer a van in vic so it's easier to look at, transport etc.
