Vauxhall crista crown wheel and pinion
11 / 38 ratio,
I obtained this about 20 odd years ago with the intention of putting it into a C F Bedford diff to improve the speed and reduce the revs on the open road, but never got round to doing it , sold the van years ago, so probably still good for that conversion , or some other use ??
Quite Heavy so will cost afew $$$ to ship.

Here,s my Ambo.... fulley worked 202 with low torque cam - OD/ Auto- 3.5 Cresta Rear, last time it was on the road I could spin the wheels on take off, and sit on 120 km on the open road.

Hey Baz , I take it your ambo has been roof raised ?
What height is roof now.
Im thinking of  putting a sleeper above cab, Maybe lifting in that part .500 then tapering down to .300 .
Also do you know of anyone wanting a jumbo hightop (fiberglass) its in hamilton.
I brought it it on trade me but its going to cost a fortune to get down here.

Manual ratio = there are 2- 3.9 and 3.7 Auto was at 3.5
Cheers for that Baz , I havnt had time to look at ratios etc.
So you reckon go with the 3.5 and 14 rims ??

Hi again

Dilligaf sure stands out I liked it when I saw it on tm.
Found a bloody cresta diff today couldnt beleive it  :)
Heard of another one as well in a shed in the wop wops by raglan.

Looking at a set of 16 inch rims for the rambo.
Just want a cruise mobile with bugger all tyre roll

Yeah id been thinking cresta,
But being as rare as rocking horse turds, I was going to go to another diff.
But as fate would have it ,Today I located a cresta growing grass  :)

So now the mind is whizzing again  8)

hiya scott

You didnt buy the dilligaf beddy did ya ? ,
Im toying with the idea of lifting the top of ambo , and been offered a rolling running sdi rover ???

It must be the beddy bug, Must build them stronger faster.
The other half of my brain says leave it alone, Its a perfectly good 3.3 blue donk with 3 speed auto + od .

What it really needs if a decent ratio diff,  blah blahh anyone got one ???
