yeah thats right. there are two different steering colum joints. the one pictured is the bigger (tougher)one and has a spline at both ends. the other type is the smaller one and has the shaft welded on at the bottom end that connets the the rag joint (bush thing). so the joint are not interchangable between steering colums so depends on what one ya van has you either need the joint with shaft attacheed reconditioned or just the joint.
