Just bunged this on gumtree
!976 CF Bedford van, 173,3 speed manual Mechanically stock, body stock except the rear doors (reversing camera with 7" screen) and the rear cargo area decked out (needs carpet) Has 4 mag wheels,(only recently removed) 60 % tread on the front and 95% on back, tyres currently on van have 80%+ tread all round. Runs beautifully and comes with a trailer load of spares including 2 spare diffs (one being a high speed diff) It is currently registered (only rego-ed and rwc in feb) and in use every day but will sell unreg Reason for selling is that of an afternoon, picking up and dropping off kids has become a logistical nightmare due to it being a 2 seater so will be getting a morris minor when this goes. 4
For Sale / gunna sell it« on: April 21, 2013, 07:09:37 PM »
So I have had my "toy" for about 5 years in the shed as a play thing, and my daily driver turned it's toe's up(it's a jeep thing) so I got a rwc and regoed the van.
Didn't take long to realise that a two seater does not suit for pick up and drop off's of more than one child at a time as I don't want a ticket for an unsecured passenger. and -heres the biggy two days after I got it registered someone in a white van (make unknown) tried to abduct a girl from my childrens school, so I get 'the look' every time I go there, which is quite often as my wife also teaches there and this has removed the fun of driving it and it does not suit the image of a teacher (which I am) so I'm gunna buy a morris minor so 1976 cf van white, no windows, no rear doors. reversing camera with 7 in monitor 173, 3 speed, standard diff mag wheels 3/4 decked out in blue velvet goes well about 10 months Qld rego (u can get ur own rwc, as I'm over it) still used daily (about 30 k round trip) spares include (a trailer load in total) windscreen plus other glass side door (window no rust ex cond) bedford diff with B/W centre and 10 inch drums, no cylinders by memory standard diff and drive shaft wheels and tyres (probably 8-10 in total) 14's and 15's, have currently removed rear mags and running 15's for extra kph springs, front and rear front end boxes of various smalls etc just can't remember at the moment $4000 will put up to date fotos in my gallery when I can take them, as busy as a blue arse fly at the moment 5

CF Bedford Chat / have rego« on: March 01, 2013, 08:17:23 PM »
big day today
bolted brand new rego plates on the beddy figure after only 5 years of ownership I am ahead of schedule so basically, trip to qld trans was its maiden voyage (30k round trip) didn't break down or overheat so there is a bonus did however get a god awful clunk happening in the rear end and by the time I got home I had diagnosed the worst case scenario. Fixed with another washer on the all mag nuts, then had to squeeze the rear number plate into small area above towbar and move reversing camera, but all good now Hopefully will make a slow (standard diff for now) trip down Caboolture for a sticky at easter 8

Exteriors and Interiors / Re: Cargo door restraint« on: January 21, 2013, 06:03:00 PM »
Morris Minors have a pivot point mounted on the door jamb, from that there in a short rod with thread on the end that goes into the door. On the threaded end is a rubber stop a big washer and a nut, meaning by using the thread you can adjust how far the door opens
