Sliding doors - that's a bit unusual isn't it?

Yes I'd be interested in how the heavier springs perform, thanks.

Wanted / Re: Wanted rusty grill - NZ« on: November 20, 2013, 01:28:25 PM »
I'll have a fairly rusty grille available soon. Replacing it with a fibreglass one. I'm in Wellington. How urgently do you want it? May also be able to do a 10" front drum.

Thanks for the replies fellas. Didn't really want to add more weight as it's a Dormobile and weighs 1800kg already. And when we travel my wife likes to collect rocks when I'm not looking. I'll check the shocks when I get some time off from restoring the Armstrong Siddeley.

Miscellaneous Technical / Softer front springs« on: November 18, 2013, 06:55:40 PM »
Anyone know if there are any softer front springs that could be used in the CF? I find the ride to be a bit bouncy bouncy.

Hello from Wellington NZ. I have a 71 Bedford CF with original English Dormobile Landcruiser camper body. It must be an early Dormobile as it does not have the raised bit in the roof so the only place I can stand up straight is under the roof vent dome. But it's OK like that. Have fitted a Holden 202 to it, with its original GM auto and a 3.4 diff, which I find good for general cruising but I think it's a bit over-geared for hill climbing.
