Big Betty has a 350 in it which i moved back and down so as to to take a bit of weight of steering and i have a 80 series landcruiser radiator with twin thermos and enough room in front for aircon condensor. It doesnt get hot at all. Reason i used this radiator is that diesel cruisers run hot and the radiator does its job well.

I used MDF to make my door trims. Its easy to work with and have incorporated my winder mechanisms and speaker mounts in. Once you finish shaping them spray them with some good urethane and then you can cover them in whatever you want. I intended to get a company in Perth that uses vacuum wrapping so it sucks the vinyl on just like a late style door trim. I also used MDF to make all my storage compartments in the rear.

Definately speak to a proper springworks as I had the springs on my LWB lowered, reset and then they reworked the front eye and it drives and handles better than my old WB ute. Here in W.A I used a company called Westralian Springs.

Had a bit of a think over weekend and decided that around 10K would be a starting point for van but will think about any offers that are reasonable. Like I said all running gear is brand new and there are are also a heap of spares as well.

Will be away at drags all weekend but first thing monday will try and post some good pics. Not too sure what price to put on. Origanally van cost 3500 then I spent about 2000 on getting rust cut out and some panel work. I would have to go through all receipts to work out what I have spent but that might be a bit scary. I really dont know what they are fetching.

Very easy to get licensed. I can even arrange licensing. Was licensed with 350 chev turbo 400, 9" and same size wheels. I let it run out as wasn't going to pay for rego while rebuilding it.

Sorry haven't been on site for a while a few things have happened in my life. Thought I would have Big Betty going by Xmas but had to park her up for a bit. Took it for a drive though. Now I have less tread on my 295's. Oh well. Craig and Dano I have moved so I hope you haven't called into old shop at all. Regards Tim
