If anyone thinks i am over pricing this, please, let me know, or show me ANYTHING being sold at 1/ this price. 2/ with these extra's.

Im kinda befuddled that i have had soooo many people say great things, and yet 1 or 2 people say they MIGHT have a look?

Van is still for sale. Will be moving to Reservoir (possibly) in next 10 days or so. New garage.

3
$2000. Avondale Heights. Victoria.

Quick sale, Low price. Brakes all Done, Bushes and Ball Joints done (have reciepts, pics can be seen on the BUGA Facebook page).

**Includes Auto gear box, 2nd original dash...some accessories. Air compressor (as new, used once, today). Aircomp accessory kit with Nail gun, and Staple gun. Loads of prep sandpaper/filler, and a barrel of thinner for paint.
IMPORTANT: Pics show rust, Im putting everything i bought to fix it in the sale. I dont need to "make a sales pitch" you all know how hard it is to find a Windowless swb beddy. The thing sells itself. I just need to move, and hence, im happy to throw in all the extra's to make it more enticing.
Please PM me. Available Sunday 25/6 and all Day Monday 26/6.

For Sale / Re: The time has come
« on: November 27, 2016, 12:40:32 PM »
Heya Mezz, I still have that Instrument Panel safe and sound ready for my Van (just incase your wondering whatever happened).

Im not sure if im late to the party, or if im even invited too it. I saw the Green (Bash Van way back, in your garage, before it was a bash van, but know little about it.)

Ive seen pictures of the Coca Cola Van on FB.

Im not sure what im getting at, but ill say this. I have $16K cash, and a windowless Van with $3K spent on original Brakes (but have never been used so may need to be umm cleaned?)

I want a Van that will last long enough to pay of the debt i owe for the $16K im meant to get a new car with. Whilst the Roller Van isnt qite my style, i feel it will fill that personal void ive had since i was 16yrs old, and couldnt buy my first Beddy with the Graphics.

I will say this, i would NOT change it, in anyway (unless it was minor, such as extra cushion in a chair, or tread on a tyre type stuff, so it would remain a Coca Cola Bedford Look-a-like.

Anyway..let me know where its all at, preferably on FB cause i check that at work and home for messanger (family stuff).

or email me @ middleton.kirk@gmail.com

Cheers.

P.s: it has to happen before end of year, cause my sister wont like me using her car much longer :D

Wow, its been half a decade if you can believe that  :o I spose ill update those who arnt part of the Bedford Vans Australia Facebook Page.

Way back when i started this post, id engaged with a brand new online Poker company, something which i was then and even now heavily involved with. I proposed to them, a deal where for 5yrs they would own all signage of the vehicle Both inside and out. (back then Car Ads wernt that common, and a VAN like a windowless Bedford? wow). Anyway, they agreed with almost everything, and as per my comments, i got quotes from cheap to top end ($60K + for the Aotoworx showvan (best in Aus it would have been by far..i mean the worx literally, none would have compared..but easy to say, when it didnt happen lol)

Bottom line is, as per the Automotive industry, people just BULLsh-ted their way, and never turned up. I did the course, but it i personaly failed, as i felt conflicted about Mig vs Tig, and since i did a cheap course, i felt un-confident about my skills.

At the end of the day, I do STILL OWN the van, and it resides in my Garage to this day (a decade). I am blessed in that ive not moved, and thus havnt had to face the conflict of removing it. I am cursed in that its cost me some $6K in purchase + Brakes+ Towing+stuff+getting hurt by trusted people (scroll the story).

Im updating this, as Im about to have to purchase a NEW cra, and i dont want too...it will forever feel like a failure if i do. BUT i need reliabilty and my job, so its set in stone.

Im asking, just 1 last time, does someone know a place of credability that would turn an old Van into a new Roadworthy and 5yr lasting vehicle...Nothing flash, but something quality (my $60K quote included 15K paint + 15K interior...+ 15K full metal custom.

anyhow..im down to weeks i spose lol.

Hey Ben what about your post on the 19th December, or was that just a statement.

Joe

I think you will find that was aimed at Pirate13 who actually started this thread asking for help and whose van issues are relatively minor although there is a few of them. Somehow this thread has morphed into being about Kirk's van.

I certainly didnt mean to hijack the thread. Sorry.

Re: aka5000: Im in Avondale Heights....and would be very keen to take up your offer. Obviously its xmass right now..so maybe in a day or 2 we can chat :)? anyhow have a Merry Xmas all.....:)

Damn man...i certainly know how it feels to get your dream car only to end up gutted :(

Been atleast 3yrs if not 5 since i got mine...and what was meant to be $1000 to get on the road...has now been thousands of $$$$'s for what is now worse of than when i got it :(

BUT i havnt given up yet...and ive been kicked hard several times...by strangers, friends...even by the bloody tafe i paid money to so that i could learn to do my OWN rust repairs...only to be told 1-2 weeks before course started they were full...and they would return my online payment (fckin Kangan Bateman Tafe)....

I must admit i lost alot of hope...and a piece of me died after i got my van....Ive tried everything...ive had companies almost pay for the costs ONLY to change their mind at last second and change their direction....

BUT at this point of time im blessed....i have a job, i seem to have a house that can garage the old girl and a landlord who doesnt want to get rid of me anytime soon (has never seen in the shed lol)...

The new year i will try alot harder to do a course...clear some debts (incurred after i brought a 2nd car which also i got ripped on too...so its not just beddies lol)...and my current feeling is...fck it...ill learn to weld..ill do the best i can...its only metal..and technically i cant devalue it anymore than others have so...at very least i can melt the thing tie it to my ankle and push it in the river at the end of the street :) hahaha

Anyhow...id love to give you some kind of enlightened advice...but only you know if its worth the long road...and u will know...its that moment when you walk into the garage...turn the light on..and see it and think "I LOVE YOU...and i will make you better!" If your walking into that space and thinking "You piece of crap, you ruined my life!" it might be worth getting rid of :(

Hopefully ben can be your night in shining armour tho :D

GL.
