The scooby van hasn't been driven since 2010. The gearbox is toast, leaking radiator (holes) and the master brake cylinder needs replacing. Certainly is a fixer-upper. Gonna be costly.

You've done so much to that beddy. It must be painful to put it up for sale. Good luck with it, mate.

Thanks mezzmo. Nice van that. Very stock looking. I should probably start a new thread, seems this line of chatter is hijacking the purpose of introductions! Hah...

I already saw that one. Contacted the seller, asked for more pics (wanted to see the other side) and if there was video of it running / driving. And asked about the diff. Only reply I got was "original diff". No extra pics. I would have put a deposit on it already and booked a ticket to Sydney in plans of driving it up to Brisbane if the seller had offered more pics and a video.

I'd go for the 8 if registration was as much as the 6. Thanks for the welcome!

Hi All, I'm Marty, 35, just this year I'm back in Aus (for good) and currently work for an environmental lab in Brissy. My brother is Bullstik and has seemingly infected me with the Bedford bug. I'm on the hunt for my first Bedford purchase. I wanna get something fairly rust free, SWB, 6 cyl and auto. Let me know if you see any around! Nice to meet you all! Marty
