Wendy, I am being the devils advocate.... Love the idea, so much so I will help organise a weekend away is SA... Why not have it on the October long weekend... most states have the 7th Oct as a public holiday.... except the vics (they wait til the cup) & WA (they have the week before) for labour day... and lets face it , owning a CF is a labour of love... . so lets have a long weekend of a CF lovefest... if we are not all having it on the same weekend... dare I say CF......

I made my own.... used a spice container to fit into the original CF air filter hose and something that fitted the carby from the wreckers.. Oh and there is a bit of a 3 litre (plastic) milk container as well....just call me MacGyver.... Has 2 90 degree bends that is far from ideal, but hooked a large diameter hose to the air filter from the front to "ram" cooler air in. I think this is lots better than having an even bigger and uglier engine cover... Using the front brick shape for some good..... 186 with black (blue?) head.. And yes, best move I made!

So the question becomes....what do you call a collection of 48 Bedfords (besides a dam good effort).... I am thinking a dealership... Seriously, having been where you are and survived.... I have learnt who my friends are and who to trust... and they are few and very far between... What you have shared shows your strength and how you have made it. Get your favorite CF rolling & on the road and the rest will follow, just like every one has since your first. Cheers Russell (rumax)

depends if it's an aussie 4 speed or something from the UK.... If it's an aussie 4 speed, do as stuuuuz suggested, otherwise, try your local Vauxhall dealer or evilbay!

about 225 revs @ 100K. I have (from memory) a 3.36 :1 BW that I want to sell... and I am in Adelaide- Bedford stud pattern. And I am not after silly $$. PM me if interested.

well, I've got a cab/chassis, so not relevant... and was about 3 years ago, and prices change........ but it has cut down vibration and I don't get any drumming now... much more comfortable drive. I am about to cover a new engine cover with the stuff... but at the time, I debated if it was worth it - cost is about $65.00 per square metre....and a CF has a LOT of square metres in it!

I just got mine from fleebay... found the best price was a local guy (cos of freight)... and don't discount putting it under the underlay/carpet as well. difference in noise level is huge!
