Replace the coil, newer ones have the ballast resistor inside. Also its one of the first things I do when I buy a beddie. Also I like to change distributer cap and leads, usually solves half a dozen problems along with the earth strap on the battery..just my 2c worth.

Hey all , Big Thanks to Wendy for helping me log in after 10 years or Purgatory!! Gunna start going thru old posts and having a Perv, may even comment on some old ones. Most of you wont know me but I was here at the beginning of the first board. I guess my biggest claim to fame is being Craig's brother. I know I know, someone has to do it LOL.
