For Sale / ROOF TOP 4SALE_CAMPER
« on: August 15, 2013, 06:53:08 PM »
Hey little buggers, ;D

Im selling my original Beddy camper roof top as Ive bought a diff style one.
It comes with the vinyl attached, zip down half circle  fly screen windows but when removed it some of the vinyl is odd length at bottom as we could remove some parts easy and had to cut some parts of it out.
Roofs in good condition but the vinyl would be ok condition?
$...BEST OFFER!!!?? ???
Go to Gallery,page:7 and look for the skull gear stick is my beddy photos, you will see the camper roof top for sale there, having trouble uploading pix here!!!
Cheers Poochi x

Hey pooch What was rong with the poptop that was on it Be careful you dont put too much weight up there There's not much strength in the roof I had to put extra cross pieces in mine to stop it from bouncing & cracking the roof You can see photos in my gallery Cheers Reid

Oh shit, dont freak me out Reidy baby, lol!
Just hated the box look, wanted something more rounded  smaller in size n subtle to look at,like everyone else has?
it has a welded frame inside the hole/well square cut out steel frame i mean?
How would removing this box roof n leaving the frame inside the retangle and replacing it with same size retangle poptop make it weaker?
My brothers seriously anal about safety & doing things properly ALL the freakn time so i guess he will tell me if it needs more cross pieces knowing him?
Thanks for your thoughts :)

Poochie, don't worry about it, all info is good info!!

I'm looking forward to getting into it, but that first chop into the roof with the grinder is gonna be a proper brown trousers moment!!   :o :o

Al

LOL,Funny !! ;D
Im already giving my poor brother the shits again over this idea ive bought into his garage agaaaaain.
Thankfully my bro is a pain in the ASS perfectionist BIG time so he will measure it 43times before cutting it and it will be finnish off fit for an art gallery that might be by 2026 its'll be ready but it will be worth the weight..IF i havent grown a FREAKN BEARD by then? :'(

QUESTION TO ALL POPTOPPERS:
It appears my combie poptop looks same so we dont know which is the front or back, any one know by the vent in the roof,is that suppose to be above yr heads whilst driving like a sunroof, or at the back to look up to the stars when yr in bed in the back,we are not sure which end the vent should be would tell us which way the roof is suppose to sit on the beddy, any ideas? :-\

Ironic...I just bought a bargain of a life time great condition white Pop top roof with canvas&cross bar spring action type..was from a combie, now we are scratchn our heads on how to convert it too the flat roof swb Beddys??Im removing my box shape roof for this one but as the base curves to fit the combie we are thinkn of removing the part completely...Bought it for..Drum rollllll...$1.04 on Ebay 2wks ago and the bloke was spewing,so i said id pay him$150 to deliver it to soften the blow as thr hard to find 2nd hand pop tops hey?!!
So yep...we are now in the same boat kinda, workn out how to customize to ffit my Bedsta?? ??? ???
Any suggestions are welcome too!
