Yeah,  it was Dans van,
Didnt it sell for about $10,000 on ebay?

Hi again and yeah, a bit more,,,

I've fixed a heap of stuff and added A/C, but just can't get it finalised...

I received an email recently from someone asking about a price, For some reason when I went to reply, I can't find the email or remember who sent it, sorry...

I know the work that has gone into this, I also know that you never get back what is put into it, but there is not much needed (from the right person) to get this on the road and back to greatness.,

So lets just throw it out there at $6500. Call or email if you want to chat/see/barter.
I hope someone who has the passion can finish this project.

cheers

Hi Greg.

I believe they were custom made by the one who did all the fiberglass work originally.

That's about as good as I know sorry

Yeah Mezzmo, I would love to have time/money to get it great but sometimes you just have to re assess priorities...

Thats why I'm starting here. If someone the 'The Passion' for Beddies is keen, then at least I will know she will live on!

I will play tomorrow and upload some pics.
Cheers :)

Hi.
Well after a few years trying, I have not been able to collate money and time at the same place to finish this...

The Blue Angel as I named her, had issues when I got it, has had brand new reco gearbox and new front end bushes and waiting now to be cleaned up and re registered.
There was no Engineer cert when I got it so it will need that or remove some items.
I would love to have the time and ability to do it but right now Uni for my son is taking priority.

Thus, the gallery from when I got her is here
http://www.buga.com.au/index.php?option=com_gallery2&Itemid=8&g2_itemId=28618

I am hoping to get into the garage tomorrow and try to get some more shots, or re invigorate my passion and try to get it on the road, but I know there were a few a while ago that knew the original owner of this van.

So, wondering if anyone is super keen to play with the van, if so message/email if your serious and we can chat.

We are in Inverell northern NSW if you were to have a look
its_coops@hotmail.com

The steel rims have rusted a bit, I basically have not touched it for over a year or more since I got it to fit in the garage.
Fibreglass at the base has been eaten at one point by my stupid dog,,, but nothing that can't be fixed.

Swivel custom seats in rear, Ford seats up front, VN V6 Series 2 motor.

See how we go...
Cheers

Done...
Good idea for the donation, certainly a great cause and they will be needed if the bull bar ban comes into effect fully. It will cause more serious injury crashes on rural roads if there is no protection.

Perth may have to be a next year thing depending on how this year goes, but certainly seems like a good project if you wanna start planning.
Anyone in for a road trip to Perth in 2012??? Start saving now, could be fun...

Ha, didn't know they turned up down the side, but cool. Otherwise yeah, in teh last gallery page.
I have to do some work to get it back to standard and try some new tricks, then I hope to be able to hit the show circuits.
Hopefully by mid year I should have it back on the road, even if not finished, so keen to hear of any rally's etc around that time.
Cheers

G'Day all and thanks. Is Danny Riley in this group? or anyone in touch with him? Would be intersting to have a chat about the mods and any engineering that may have been done in the past. I hope to change it a bit and get it back on the road by mid year for a run.
It was still pretty good with the V6 but I could definately see the potentional with a V8. Fun ride...
Cheers
