pull both rear axles out and hubs take them to an engineer and have them re-drilled to hq pattern then .
easy as

I did this on the front, had hub and drum re-drilled for hq.
One problem though, the centre bore hole (on the front at least) need to be about 91mm which is big. i Had to get my mags machined out to enlargen them from 76mm to 91mm. only had them machined to half the depth so i could still fit the centre caps on the front. See my gallery for details

Hey all, thanks for all the help.
I got new wheel bearings the same time as I did all the other work. The mags are not multifit, and they have self locating nuts. I might look at getting my drums balanced. I need to get all my drums adjusted anyway. again thanks for all the feedback

I've had the drums machines, shoes re lined, all new wheel cylnders, so they 'should've be all good

Also modified and balanced tailshaft a few months ago

Ps, I know its a steering / suspension / wheels problem because I've killed the engine whilst driving at speed and its not affected it, so it can't be engine/trans. Also it feels like its frontend, not rear

At the moment I'm sitting on 100kph (I know some of you are jealous)
I can wind her up to 110+ but I get some serious shaking going on. The best way to describe it is a bad wheel balance, or the engine running the wrong firing sequence.
Now I know that its neither of these problems, because my mags are new and balanced.
Might be worth getting them re-aligned.
Also, the shudder can be felt through the steering wheel / column.

Any idea of what to check / replace first?

Well as long as they're supposed to do that. I was just hoping I hadn't joined the wrong wire. I think the lights will be bright enough, they're mainly to tell other people to get out the way, rather than see where I'm going
