Hi Worby,
Yes I too was interested in doing this and I actually did join the Vauxhall Club about a year and a half ago. You need to be a paid up member (approx $60 I think), attend a few monthly meetings (if you can) and participate if you can in their event days. It is a very small group, mostly older retired men with old Vauxhalls. I was the only one with a CF Bedford and felt quite out of place. All you need is a current RWC (not negotiable) and they provide you with the Club Rego. So great for those using upto 90 days.
Let me know if you need the contact details.
Thanks, Adrian.

Hey Shell, I've been offline for a while too so saddened to hear your Mum. All my best to you and your brothers. Without sounding too much like a preacher, you know I am here to talk should you need. Shell, for you, look at going back home as a great thing. Maybe hit the comedy circuit again and cheer others up as well as yourself. RE your gas needs, get in touch with Smithy's LPG ( www.smithyslpg.com.au ). They sponsored the conversion on my 1982 charity bash Jeep, fitting it with twin tanks underneath. They also do lots of specialist cars works and old hot rods. I think you can get a quick quote via their website. When they do the conversion, they only needed to certify the gas system they installed and provide a metal plate with date of compliance. They did not need to have a full RWC done. So you'll be safe!!! RE your beach getaway you're planning (?!), that's why i got my bedford. I was the only one without one last year! Early March sounds great, but please please please NOT the weekends of 17th or 24th March. (Camp Quality training then my 40th!!!) Speak soon, Adrian.

Hey Rossie,
Thanks for the info. I have my LWB and a charity bash car needing to do the same. What club are you with? I'd love to contact them to see if mine are able to be club rego'd. (PM me if you prefer)
Adrian.

Are they lap/sash seatbelts or just lap belts? Also, the seat buckle on the rear is quite far over for the drivers side seat. Does this mean it actually has 3 buckles/seats for the rear? I am interested.
Thanks,
Adrian.

Hey guys, I went yesterday to Brocky's Big Day Out in Hurstbridge Victoria. It's put on as a fundraiser for the Peter Brock Foundation. A show and shine for all old vehicles, most restored but also those that have just aged. It's not for any particular brand of car at all - just people who enjoy their vehicles. Cheap entry ($5) and lots & lots of spectators. Not one Bedford this year, but I'll be there next year with mine, and also told organisors that there may probably be more too. So I am getting in very early to flag a potential Beddie run in Vic around this time next year. Amongst many prizes for "Best of" there is even a prize for "Best Unfinished Vehicle" which I'm sure a Beddie would be bound to win!!!! More details next year!
Adrian.

Hey Shell and Steve,
I'm not sure if thats the wheels that I have but I can come around, take the wheels off mine on to yours and get yours moved. (I got a nice big trolley jack and wheel stands for my birthday - need an excuse to use them!!!) Will just need to try and fit in a day.
Adrian.

Good point Rogue. I now realize in my desire to not miss out on buying the gold lwb, I posted my mobile in the post "my Beddy for sale" initiated by Member Grogan. Can one of the moderators see if they can remove my number from that post in light of what Rogue has said. Thanks, Adrian.
