Driveline / engine mounts holden 186 sump touching cross bar
« on: November 27, 2018, 02:06:51 PM »
hello everyone, just wondering if anyone else has had this problem. i recently replaced my engine mounts, bought as Bedford CF SWB for holden 186 red motor, however my sump is now resting on the cross member and is being ground away. are there larger mounts to lift the engine up? or are there any fix arounds that you may suggest. cheers, drew

Introduce Yourself / Re: New Introductions

Hello all, my name is Drew and i'm new to this site, i hope i'm posting correctly as i have never done this before :) i have a Bedford CF camper van that i bought out of South Australia. Super happy with it and already done a few road trips. Since buying it i've changed it to an automatic (trimatic attached to a holden red 186 engine), electronic ignition, replaced alternator, shock absorbers and changed to halogen headlights. i've got a few questions but not sure how to start a new thread. Main question i have is, has anyone ever changed the axle and front brakes from a dual wheeler to a normal short wheelbase CF. Cheers, Drew
