Right then, I'm starting to get a bit more technical with my knowledge now, thanks to my mechanic haha
My Beddy's engine is replaced with a Holden 202 Red 6 Cylinder. The Mechanic is a little bit worried about the future as getting it in and out looks like a complete b@llache... has anybody got this or a similar set up and can give me some pointers? Or stories from experience whether I just get a new engine installed and make my future look a bit brighter?
Thanks!

Hey guys Need to find a trusted panel beater around Sydney in the next few months to give me a hand. Anybody got any good recommendations? Also has anyone fitted Ben's Scooby Doo kit? Im thinking the Gallery isn't up and cant find any pics other than the freshly moulded pieces. would love to see it on to make up my mind. Cheers!

Hey I'm Paul from Sydney. I bought the Bedford as a project for my new cafe. I will be restoring the van back to original as best I can, and then converting the back into a pull out cafe. You can check out the (basic) website at www.zombiecafe.com.au if you fancy. My plans so far are to remove the pop top, block in the back side windows, get the whole thing sandblasted and rust repaired, etc. Big project so far. I really wanted the old style van for character and fell in love with the Bedford. Had a few hiccups along the way and Im sure many more to come, but it will all be worth it, and will be great to bring her along to any Bedford meets that may happen, free coffee of course! I am a complete novice in all things automotive, but I am teaching myself as much as I can along the way, so please bare with me if any of my posts are outright dumb sounding. Look forward to keeping you up to date with the progress Paul @ Zombie Cafe P.s I came across this site through Google

Thanks for that Jeff
I actually started figuring out this site straight after I posted and found a heap of useful posts. My mechanic has already called it a 'bottomless pit' project, but as long as I know its not impossible I am going to get this beauty back to her former glory! Will be sure to post updates as I go.
Thanks again!

Good morning!
This is my first (of many I hope) Bedford and I have to admit I have very little idea of what I'm doing. It's all a learning curve and I thank you in advance for your help. I am trying to find window seals to replace on all of the windows, and also I am looking to remove the pop top and replace with a fibreglass, as I am with the 2 back side windows and side cargo door window.
I have found one site for each of these so far, and both through Ebay, but from your experience is there a 'go to' guy to get these? And is there anybody in NSW who knows their stuff when it comes to these vans?
Thanks, Paul
