a big thank you to john forbes for his information

Bedford Window Seals. Rare Spares Perth. Paul or Greg. 08 9470 1117. . The items are called CF Bedford Outer Door Belt DB8027 and also CF Bedford Inner Door Belt DB8028. These are the rubbers that stop the rain running down the window into the door. They need about 20-30mm trimmed off as they are supplied over-length to ensure you get the curve up at the ends. Cut the door belts on an angle at the ends as these then butt up to the Bailey channel.

John F. Has created a Facebook  page of his rebuild that entails awesome pictures of his interior .
It was insipred after a buga asked ..."where did ya get?"  ;D

So he posted pictures and listed the part no & contact no of the supplier..

Quoted John F

"Hi y'all. I've created a FB page for my Bedford. I have uploaded about 200 photos. No comments or part numbers yet, but the photos are there as a starting point. I'll add commentary and part numbers and supplier contact details over the coming weeks.
I have created numerous photo albums. One with the history of the van from 1977 to 2012. One photo album of when I bought the van but prior to renovation. One album of during renovation. One album of after renovation. Click on ALL ALBUMS to see them all."

Clark Rubber Bailey Channel Commodore VB-VL. Item # 38960. This suits the inside channel of the front doors. It can be inserted as one piece from the bottom of the channel right around the window frame and back into the bottom of the door again. Approx 3.5 metres per door/window. This section has the additional lip so it sits nicely on the outside of the door / window frame.

Bedford Window Seals. Rare Spares Perth. Paul or Greg. 09 9470 1117. If the phone number isn't right, please be mindful that there are two places in Perth with similar company names so you might need to google them and try one or the other place. (No pic yet!)

If you add the angle across the top of the door well, you can then run the inner door rubbers (pinchweld and blister) all the way around. From memory it was 20mm x 20mm x 3mm alloy angle purchased from Bunnings in 1 metre lengths for a couple of dollars. The angle is riveted to the top of the door well and the angle faces out and is hidden by the door rubber blister.

For the inside of the cabin, use "Holden Pinch Weld HT HK HG HQ HJ HZ WB New RED" pinchweld trim purchased on eBay from restocountry. It is what the Bedfords originally had. Most were black of course but you can choose your colour if you search the above on eBay. There are different colours to suit your Bedford colour scheme. It adds a nice finishing touch.

Bedford Handbrake covers in leather with colour stitching can be purchased on eBay from j-f-customs. Search "red stitch FITS VAUXHALL OPEL BEDFORD CF2 HANDBRAKE GAITER RUBBER REPLACEMENT". They are larger than the original covers and they cover all of the raised floor area around the handbrake.
