Hello all
Long time lurker and enthusiast finally found myself a van after a few years looking on and off.
Allot of work ahead of me but loving driving this gal around already
1977 CFS
*Auto ( 202 ? )
*Power steering
*Air con
*Petrol
Im sure youll be hearing from me allot on the forums as i try and fix various things. Bit of a mechanical noob but a fast learner.
Ive been given a complete stereo system to go with her so my next project will be that along with Rust removal from the gutters and wheel arches, new side mirrors, reversing camera and probably new headlights and tail lights!
Any tips or must knows im all ears

Hi Broags,
Good to have you with us. Congratulations on your purchase, it looks nice and straight.
I see your speedo gauge needle went the same way as my first one, they're so damn brittle.
All the best with her, Cheers.
Jeff.

Welcome to bedford land.
You can pull the speedo apart and glue a chuppa chup stick on the needle.
But u need to grind a groove for it to sit in.
I used s dremel with a chainsaw sharpening bit.
and glued a piece of peacock feather on my old white van years ago.
Just the white middle bit of the feather.
Worked a treat n u wouldnt pick it unless were shown.
Its probebly still there. :)
