Title: Starting to collect bits
Post by: Gunning on October 20, 2015, 11:34:41 AM
Gday all I'm starting to collect bits I need for cleaning and upgrading brakes, and subframe
Yesterday I got some new rotors, I've taken old girlock calipers off, I'll replace with some more modern style calipers
I'd like to go the stub tech drop spindle route as well, at moment it's little things and slow, a lot of saving money

ive yet to totally disaaemble the rest, ill strip it down and clean up, paint and reassamble. The old rotor were a mess. good knows whats living in them, rust and a few hole/ chunks out of them
these rotors are protex brand, hq- wb and a9x compatible

hopefully beddie compatible

The photos aren't the best, need to learn how to use the flash
The red bits are girlok brake calipers, black thing is rotor on stub axel

Here's the wheel, had to post separately for some reason
Forgot to add the wheel is fairly fat, hangs out and inch or two

Gday all, just thinking of getting new springs and shocks before I strip down the Sud frame
I plan on a v6 conversion
Any recommendations for springs and shocks
Thanks for your time

Hi all got a email back from kings springs regarding spring replacements
They recommend springs KBFS01 and a standard replacement for a six cylinder
I'll get a set of those, now for working out the shocks

Just bought some kings springs on eBay and a friend offered me some Gabriel shocks for cheap
Just have to weight for delivery, collect a few more bits, pull apart and inspect other bits in the sub frame
