Just a quick question for anyone, I was wondering about wheels and which to choose , I haven't settle on brakes, diff etc yet either
What I'm wondering is does ford pcd pattern remain consistent throughout their range of vechiles or do they change like holders do ie hq and commodore
I'm not sure if any of this matters but thought going ford pcd will be more flexible
Thank you

I have a spare F150 rear axle which will fit Bedford without too much trouble. It has a 8.8in diff with 3.55 gear ratio and huge 12inch drum brakes. Stud pattern is 5 stud with 135mm PCD. Standard rim size is 16" x 7". I don't have any rims, but did the homework and if you run a 235/60 size tyre it is the perfect high speed ratio, exact equivalent to 3.2 ratio on 14" rims.
I bought it to fit under my LWB van but won't be using it now. If you are interested let me know I currently have it up for sale.

I've been wondering over the same thing - couple of sites I came across
http://www.starchak.ca/tech/pdfs/wheels.pdf from a Canadian mini enthusiast
http://www.wheel-fitment.com/index.html a large database but incomplete for Aussie and older vehicles
Maybe of use - you can see what else uses 5x 5.5/139.7 PCD

ford falcon 5 stud early and later are same PCD but the centre bore holes changes so make sure you get the correct ones if your wheels need to be hub centic

cool thanks Rogerfied, i thought falcon were the same but never thought of the centre bore.
Theres always more to learn

We went ford dics brake conversion for front end and falcon diff at rear
so were running older XR6&8 rims
16 inch on front and after market 17 inch on rear to fill in the guards a bit more
we treid to put on my BA falcon rims but wrong offset... shame :(
but the beddy rims did look ok on the falcon :)

whats the width you are running Wendy
were the BA rims too wide? or just offset preventing proper fitment
-
ahhh the back ones are pretty wide ..the front not as much but not ur standard width either...Ray knows the dimensions...he is away atm.
Still ok for steering thou....but we only have about 10cm clearance for front tyres
yeah off set was not right especially n the front as when turning the wheel the tyres rubbed on the back of front wheel arch

rear and then front

Nice, thanks for the pic Wendy, at moment I have a hq Hotwire on one front corner, 8inch wide and sticks out of guards by a bit, got a decent bit of dish on it too
Not sure about keeping The hot wires or another set of classic wheels
