No worries Johnno, I've spoken to Rogerfied earlier today, he'll come to my place and I'll drive to Mc's and meet up with Truck on Sunday, then go to York. Pity you can't make it mate, sounds like a great day out.
Cheers.

Sorry to hear Johnno hope to catch you next time. You could always take back road 137k's from Narrogin to York and show the little fella off.

All on track to meet at Maccas's with Rog, KT and others as planned.

Hi Guys
Won't be able to make it this time , I have other commitments and the bus still has issues with water mixing with the oil in the transmission.
She should be ready for an outing one of these days, Any runs planned in the foreseeable future?

Thanks Merlin.
The guy that did the diff and breaks has  suggested that when  I redo things that I re pipe the system, at the moment it has a radiator and a cooler in front of the radiator, both water cooled, he suggested that the engine go with the conventional water cooler and the transmission run an air cooled system through the front one , keeping them separate and preventing it from happening again
any thoughts?

Have heard of the trans cooler splitting in the radiator as well, but on a plastic tank type. BF ford and was still under warranty.
1 new transmission later......

Mine came with an after market cooler that fits on the drivers side in the area opposite where the heater sits.
sits nicely next to the radiator.  :)

Yeah id be inclined to disconnect the radiator Ones and fit an independent external one.
Radiator water gets hot so transmission oil will stay hot as well.
an independent external one will cool better and no chance of water entering oil or vise versa.
Old car air cond condensers make excellent big ass transmission oil coolers.

Thanks also to Obsession to for meeting Rogerfied and myself on our way home ... I really appreciated your  time and help with the parts mate,  hopefully, you can drop by sometime and check out my CF project.
